The Krasnogorsk dam project is planned to be finalized by the end of the year
The Ministry of Transport of the Omsk region plans that the project documentation of the first stage of the Krasnogorsk hydroelectric complex on the trans-border Irtysh River will receive a positive conclusion of the State Expert Examination by the end of 2025. This was reported to the Om1 Omsk portal by the department itself.
“At present, the project organization is carrying out the necessary measures … including a set of additional engineering and geological surveys,” the ministry said.
The Krasnogorsk hydroelectric power plant project, we recall, is divided into two stages. The first contract was signed on July 19, 2022, but defects appeared on the finished structures during downtime. In 2024, the contractor JSC Lengiprechtrans received an additional order to correct documentation and eliminate problems, while simultaneously developing the second stage. Both parts were sent to Glavgosexpertiza in January, but were refused.
