The winners of the tender for the construction of small HPPs were determined in Kyrgyzstan

Another 213.9 million soms will be invested in the hydropower industry of Kyrgyzstan, the Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the country reported.

According to the results of the tender for the development of renewable energy sources, 213 million 989 thousand 100 soms will be attracted for the construction of new hydroelectric power plants in Kyrgyzstan.

9 land plots were put up for the tender. Two investors submitted applications for four of them. The winners were determined by two lots:

  • Lot No.1: Small hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 3 MW will be built in the village of Salam-Alik, Uzgen district, Osh region. Winner: LLC “Onli Group”. Investments: 90 million soms.
  • Lot No. 7: Small hydroelectric power stations with a capacity of 2 MW will be built in the village of Sary-Bee, Kara-Kulzhinsky district, Osh region. Winner: LLC “MTB Engineering System”. Investments: 123.9 million soms.
