Kyrgyzstan re-puts up for tender plots for small hydroelectric power plants

The Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic announced a repeated tender for the provision of nine land plots for the construction of small hydropower plants and solar power plants. The corresponding announcement was published in the newspaper “Erkin-Llp”.

Land plots in Osh, Talas, Batken, Chui, Issyk-Kul and Jalal-Abad regions have been put up for auction. The total capacity of future facilities will be more than 70 MW.

  • Lot No. 1 is a small hydroelectric power station (4.8 MW) in the Osh region, Kara-Suui district, Kyzyl-Tuu village (area 6.97 ha).
  • Lot No. 2 – small hydroelectric power station (28 MW) in Talas region, Chon-Chychkan site (area 43.15 ha).
  • Lot No. 3 – SES in Batken region, Batken district, Kemege-Sai site (area of 200 hectares).
  • Lot No. 4 – SES in Batken oblast, At-Tatyr (area 1.2 thousand hectares).
  • Lot No. 5 is a small hydroelectric power station (3 MW) in the Chui region, Panfilovsky district, Chon-Kayyndy gorge (area 2.04 ha).
  • Lot No. 6 is a small hydroelectric power station (10.5 MW) in Issyk-Kul region, Ak-Sui district (area 4.57 ha).
  • Lot No. 7 – SES in Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul district, Ak-Kudun site (450 ha area).
  • Lot No. 8 is a small hydroelectric power station (19 MW) in the Chui region, Zhayyl district (area 1.2 hectares).
  • Lot No. 9 – small hydroelectric power station (6.2 MW) in Jalal-Abad region, Aksy district (area 4.02 ha).

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until March 28, 18:00 at the address Bishkek, Erkindik Boulevard, 56. Date of the competition: April 2 at 10:00 at the Green Energy Fund.
