The head of the Ministry of Energy inspects the construction of the Sebzor Dam
The head of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, inspected the construction of the Sebzor hydroelectric power station, the press service reported.
It is noted that the construction of the facility is in accordance with the established schedule.
Currently, specialists are working on the dam of the power plant, as well as installing water treatment facilities.
To date, various facilities have been commissioned as part of the Sebzor Dam construction project, including a 4 km access road.
Recall, the Sebzor Dam, which is being built on the Shakhdara River of the Roshtkalinsky district, consists of 3 power units. When fully commissioned, it will generate 11 MW of electricity.
The dam of the power plant will reach a height of 8.5 meters and a length of 65 meters, and the volume of its reservoir will be 250 thousand cubic meters.
This hydroelectric power plant will be able to provide electricity to tens of thousands of local residents, as well as export electricity to the border areas of Afghanistan.
Sebzor is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2024.
