Kyrgyzstan offers Turkish companies to build small and medium-sized hydropower plants

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov during a meeting with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about the potential of Kyrgyzstan in the field of water and energy resources. This was reported in the press service of the head of state.

So, according to Japarov, the total hydropower potential of Kyrgyzstan is 142.5 billion kWh. However, the degree of development of the country’s water and energy resources is only 13%.
