The Chinese company will build nine small HPPs on the Karadarya River
The Chinese company Xinjiang Qianyuan Kunyu Construction Engineering plans to build mini-hydroelectric power plants in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade reports.
Deputy Head of the Ministry Ilzat Kassymov discussed with the General Director of Xinjiang Qianyuan Kunyu Construction Engineering Hou Hui technical details and further steps to erect cascades of small hydroelectric power plants on waterways in the regions of the country.
Following the meeting, the parties signed an investment agreement on the implementation of the project for the construction of nine mini-HPPs on the Karadarya River in the Andijan region.
