The Orto-Tokoyskaya HPP construction project has been implemented by 40%

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobayev paid a working visit to the Orto-Tokoyskaya HPP. This was reported by the press service of the company “Chakan HPP”.

It is known that the construction of the Orto-Tokoyskaya HPP is carried out under the management of JSC “Chakan HPP”, the general contractor is the Chinese company China National Machinery Industry Corporation (CNMC).

Torobayev stressed the importance of strict compliance with the approved schedule and focused on the need for prompt resolution of emerging issues.

“To date, the construction of the Orto-Tokoyskaya HPP has been completed by 40%. Completion of construction works is planned in the first half of 2026, ” the report says.
